Patrick has a keen interest in uncovering the root cause of his patients’ problems and addressing them at their source. He then empowers his patients with coaching and guidance on how to manage and correct their condition on their own through effective homecare strategies. Relying on clinical experience and evidence-based research, Patrick uses massage therapy, but also works closely with each client’s healthcare team, including their physiotherapist, to ensure a timely and as complete recovery as possible.

Patrick has worked closely with clients of all ages suffering from a range of conditions, including:
- Addiction recovery
- Orthopaedic injuries at varying stages of recovery
- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- Postural dysfunction
- Repetitive strain
- Systemic illness

From Nova Scotia, Patrick relocated to western Canada in early adulthood driven by a love of snow sports. He enjoys skiing and snowboarding in Banff and at Whistler, as well as weightlifting, downhill-mountain biking, golf, hockey, and baseball. Patrick has worked as a BC whitewater raft guide and in resort/hotel management. He is trained in first aid and swift-water rescue.

A Vancouver College of Massage Therapy (VCMT) graduate and recipient of the VCMT Heart Award for Academic and Clinical Excellence, Patrick became a massage therapist because of a lifelong interest in working in health care and his own experiences recovering from injuries. He was also attracted to the profession because of a hereditary and progressive eye disease, which renders Patrick visually impaired.
